We had a great time at this budget hotel in the heart of the Blackforest! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options and the dinner menu was absolutely delicious. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Lothenbachklamm and Schluchtensteig, and it was just a short drive to Schluchsee and Freiburg. The spa and wellness facilities were top-notch, adding a touch of luxury to our stay.
The sauna and pool area closed a bit early at 9pm, which was a bit disappointing.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and mindful, making our Easter weekend getaway truly enjoyable. The breakfast buffet had a great spread and the dinner menu was absolutely delicious. We also loved the spa and wellness facilities, which added to the overall wonderful experience.
The only downside we experienced was that the sauna and pool area closed a bit early at 9pm. It would have been nice if they were available for a bit longer into the evening, as it would have added to the relaxation and enjoyment of our stay.

Plus, the hotel's location allows for easy day trips to nearby attractions, like hiking trails and picturesque towns.
The early closure of the sauna and pool at 9 pm. It would have been great to be able to unwind in these facilities for a bit longer into the night.
